Frankfurt, August 18, 2025 – INFINITT Europe GmbH, a leading provider of medical imaging and PACS solutions, announces a recent change in executive leadership. Kevin (Kun Hong) Lim succeeds Lars Thursar, who, after 16 years as Managing Director, is pursuing a new professional opportunity.

Kevin Lim began his career at INFINITT Healthcare Co., Ltd. in Korea and relocated to Germany 15 years ago. This experience has given him in-depth knowledge of the company’s solutions and the European medical imaging landscape. As Chief Technology Officer of INFINITT Europe, Kevin Lim has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technology strategy and ensuring close alignment between European operations and global research and development efforts.

Kevin Lim, newly appointed Managing Director of INFINITT Europe GmbH, stated:

At DMEA, INFINITT will be presenting a wide range of modern solutions for medical imaging: from PACS and dose management systems to RT-PACS and the new digital pathology solution.
The VNA INFINITT Healthcare Platform (IHP) is a future-oriented solution that combines hospital-wide image data management and the individual solutions under one roof.
The INFINITT Healthcare Platform (IHP) is a multimedia Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) that enables the patient-centered integration of all medical images and multimedia data (DICOM and non-DICOM) from all medical departments on one server by processing all data in a standard format with a standard interface.
This means that the individual solutions of the specialist departments, such as PACS or digital pathology solutions, can be integrated independently of the manufacturer and the relevant data can be used throughout the hospital.

Customized implementation and high interoperability

As an experienced provider, INFINITT individually adapts the implementation of the VNA project to the customer’s needs and existing IT infrastructure.
The information distribution is realized IHE-compliant via 27 open interfaces with standards such as HL7, FHIR and DICOM.
A RESTful interface enables integration into other PACS and existing IT infrastructures, long-term archiving and electronic patient records.
Features such as XDS and XDS-I facilitate the seamless exchange of data between departments and different facilities.
Data sharing is realized through powerful routing and pre-fetching.
Intelligent Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) enables the definition of lifecycles for each category of information and thus the automated archiving and deletion of data.
The INFINITT Healthcare Platform offers a modular and vendor-independent solution for hospital-wide data management, in which selected or all departments and specialist areas can be integrated.
